Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. This role requires high-level, independent nursing care for critically ill patients, utilizing advanced medical technology and methodologies. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to varying patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding swiftly to changes.
• Utilize advanced equipment, including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, and rapid infusers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other units as needed, including stepdown, medical-surgical, and potentially behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of ICU nursing experience required.
• Experience in a variety of critical care settings is preferred, with a focus on self-starter abilities.
• CVICU experience is a plus; please indicate this on your resume.
• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact state is required.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
• Preferred certifications include TNCC, PALS, and CCRN.

Work Environment

This position may involve floating to multiple locations within the region, ensuring flexibility in meeting patient care demands.

EMR Experience

Experience with Cerner is preferred but not required.
