Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for assisting in the comprehensive care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT, and Stress Tests
- Maintain proficiency with Cath Lab equipment such as GE, IVUS, and VOLCANO
Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS certification required for Cath Lab RNs and Techs
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab procedures and 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience
- Valid KY Rad tech licensure required
