Job Description:

The role of a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab involves providing care for patients undergoing interventional cardiac catheterization procedures and supporting the team with both cardiac and interventional radiology cases.

Responsibilities:

Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.
Administer sedation and monitor patient responses.
Operate equipment safely, including balloon pumps and telemetry.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Document patient information accurately in the Epic EMR system.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting.
Mandatory skills: sedation, previous cath lab experience, balloon pumps, telemetry.
Preferred experience with interventional radiology.
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
Must complete Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam.
