Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will provide care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Administer sedation and monitor patient response
- Utilize techniques to include balloon pumps and telemetry
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiac cath lab
- Mandatory skills in sedation, balloon pumps, and telemetry
- Preferred experience with interventional radiology
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Successful completion of the Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam
