Unit Specifics:

• Number of Rooms: 2 Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab, Holding Area
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1
• Unit Staffing: Director, Charge RN, Techs, and RNs
• Type of Equipment: GE Fluoro, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, Penumbra
• Documentation System: Mac Lab and MediTech
• Scheduling Requirements: Cath lab shifts of 4-10 or 5-8 hours with potential late stays
• Floating Policy: May float to holding, EP lab, or other areas within scope of practice

Patient Experience Requirements:

• Ensure high-quality patient care and a positive experience.

Certifications

Required for RNs:

• State License
• BLS & ACLS Certification

Skills and Qualifications

Requested Skill Set:

• Advanced skills for EP circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring (two of the skills listed required)

• TAVR
• Watchman
• PCI
• Peripherals
• Impella
• Balloon Pump

Dress Code

Uniform scrubs provided must follow hospital dress code policy.
