Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, including assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Job Details

• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Shift: 4x10s, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating day off
• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures under the direction of physician staff.
• Operate various medical equipment related to the cardiac cath lab.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends, approximately 10-12 days per month.
• During downtime, assist other units, such as the Emergency Department and medical-surgical floors, as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cardiac cath lab or related field.
• Required Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association.
