Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting and demonstrate proficiency in administering moderate sedation, monitoring patients during procedures, and assisting with procedure setup and breakdown.

Shift Information

• Four 10-hour shifts (7 am to 5:30 pm)
• Rotating days off throughout the month
• Call requirements: one weekday per week and one weekend every four weeks

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

• Administering moderate sedation
• Monitoring patients during various procedures
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of procedures
• Participating in a variety of interventions, including:
• Left heart catheterization
• Right heart catheterization
• Peripheral interventions
• Carotid stenting
• Aortic Aneurysm repairs (AAAs)
• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
• Device implants

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred
• Current General Certifications (BLS/BCLS) required
