Job Description:

The RN in the Burn ICU unit is responsible for providing care to patients with burn injuries, utilizing ventilators, specialty beds, and occasionally CRRT. The unit maintains patient ratios of ICU patients 2:1 and Med/surg and PCU patients 4:1.

Responsibilities:

• Administer care to burn unit patients as per established protocols.
• Collaborate with the Charge RN, RNs, and PCT for unit operations.
• Document patient care using Meditech system.

Requirements:

• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in med/surg settings.
