Job Description:

The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services to patients in a Level II Trauma Center, working with a mix of inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) and acute care hospital patients. The role involves evaluating, treating, and discharging patients, conducting team conferences, and training families, using therapy gyms and adaptive equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, treat, and discharge patients in the IRF and acute care settings.
• Conduct team conferences and family training sessions.
• Utilize adaptive devices and therapeutic equipment effectively.

Requirements:

• Must possess weekend flexibility and a willingness to work on the IRF unit.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills.
• Hold an active OT license and active BLS certification.
