X-ray Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in various settings, including the Operating Room (OR), Emergency Department (ED), inpatient units, and portable imaging. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to learn about pediatric and neonatal imaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment to perform imaging studies.
• Evaluate images for technical quality ensuring optimal diagnostic results.
• Provide imaging services in assigned departments and float to other areas as needed.
• Work collaboratively with students and perform competency check-offs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a level 1 trauma facility or 2-3 years in a large bed level 2 trauma facility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC and Sectra, is preferred.
• Proficient in using GE, Phillips, and CareStream imaging equipment.
• Must pass a mask fit test as part of compliance requirements.
