Sonographer – Maternal Fetal Medicine

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sonographer specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine. This position involves performing high-quality ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced, high-risk environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a team player, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed anatomy scans, biophysical profiles (BPP), growth assessments, Dopplers, and twin studies.
• Manage an average of 8-10 studies per day.
• Utilize ViewPoint software as an interface for EPIC/PACS systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional patient care.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with options for either 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Required certifications: ARDMS and BLS (AHA).
• Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine is essential.

Equipment and Technology

The department is equipped with GE and Philips ultrasound machines and operates within multiple locations in the area.

Additional Information

• No weekend or holiday shifts required.
• No call or standby requirements.
• Scrubs in any color are permitted; scrubs are not provided by the department.
• Orientation will include opportunities to partner with experienced technicians.
