Special Procedures Technologist

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with call responsibilities.

Position Overview

The Special Procedures Technologist will perform interventional radiology (IR) procedures and assist medical doctors in delivering high-quality care. Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years of recent experience in the specialty.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during catheterization and other special procedures.
• Utilize Cerner for patient records and documentation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with a minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Training or experience in general vascular coronary angiography and special procedures.
• Prior experience in catheterization.

Holiday Availability

Candidates must be willing to work two major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, along with one minor holiday such as the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
