Cardiac Sonographer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty, along with necessary credentials in echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiography procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during exams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• One of the following credentials is required:
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) from Sonography Canada
  • Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Holiday Expectations

As part of the commitment to patient care, candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, along with 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
