Vascular Sonographer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an acute care vascular lab setting and will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations.

Position Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with Wednesdays off and rotating call approximately every 4th or 5th weekend from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Patient Age Groups: Primarily adults, with rare pediatric cases
• Scan Environment: Small lab setting with a focus on outpatient exams and occasional inpatient exams
• Generous Scan Times: We prioritize thorough and effective examinations
• Floating Requirements: Ability to rotate to multiple locations within the region as needed

Qualifications

• Active Vascular Sonographer license in New Hampshire required
• BLS certification
• Registered Vascular Sonographer by CCI or Registered Vascular Tech by ARDMS
• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated Vascular experience in an acute care lab setting
• Previous EMR experience preferred, particularly with Cerner

Additional Information

This position may also consider first-time travelers with the required experience in a dedicated Vascular Lab. Candidates must ensure unit-specific experience within the last 6 months, with tentative approval for experience within the last 9 months if competencies are current.
