Radiation Therapist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced radiation therapy equipment and a strong background in oncology care.

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Various start times
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• No on-call duties required

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
• ARRT (T) Certification required
• BLS Certification required
• 2-3 years of hands-on radiation therapy experience preferred
• Knowledge of Varian True Beam and Clinac IX Accelerators
• Familiarity with the ARIA record and verify system

Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist will provide effective external beam radiation therapy treatments, including:

• 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy
• Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
• Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
• Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
• Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)

Technical Skills and Equipment

The candidate should be proficient in the following equipment and software:

• ARIA/Eclipse
• Varian True Beam
• Varian Clinac IX
• Accuray Cyberknife
• Elekta Flexitron
