Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift: 8H Days 7:00-3:30pm M-F Call will be 1 day/week and every 5th weekend

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the radiology department, specifically in nuclear medicine, according to established protocols to ensure accurate and precise results for diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients under direction of a physician.
• Operate imaging systems and perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
• Maintain patient records and document results.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including use of radiation badges and adherence to fingernail policy.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.

Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB Certificate
• Driver’s license required at submittal
• DOT Certification preferred at original contract, required at extension
