Job Description:

The Cath Lab Technologist supports the catheterization laboratory by assisting with procedures, operating equipment, and monitoring patients to ensure optimal care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing cardiac, vascular, and neuro procedures in a STEMI receiving facility.
• Collaborate with team members including RNs and Lead Techs for case assignments and coordination.
• Manage and operate catheterization lab equipment, including monitoring hemodynamics and supporting the sedation process.
• Provide call coverage for inpatient and emergent cases as part of a rotating schedule.

Requirements:

• Must be certified with ARRT, BLS, and Fluoroscopy.
• Current Cath Lab experience is required, with competency in moderate sedation, cardiac drips, and procedural processes.
• Familiarity with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, and neuro interventions.
