Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. There will be no holidays, call, or weekends required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures and ensure accurate imaging.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as per established protocols.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
• Monitor patient care and safety during procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and procedures.
• Adhere to Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations.

Qualifications

• Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• Valid New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) license to practice nuclear medicine.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Certification may be preferred.
