MRI Technologist

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join our team in Fairbanks, AK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing MRI procedures in a professional and efficient manner.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week
• Weekend Requirement: None
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Holiday Requirement: As needed when the clinic is open
• Floating Requirements: May float between inpatient and outpatient settings

General Duties

• Accurately perform MRI procedures by following and verifying the orders from referring providers.
• Educate patients and their families about the procedures and treatments being conducted.
• Demonstrate professionalism and foster teamwork in all interactions to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Produce high-quality images and prepare them for timely interpretation alongside relevant patient information.
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform prescribed invasive/interventional procedures as applicable and in accordance with established policies.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Certification from the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
