Senior Cath Lab Tech

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Cath Lab Technologist to perform specialized Cath Lab duties in accordance with established departmental protocols. This role involves carrying out radiographic diagnostic and interventional special procedures while adhering to providers’ orders and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform skilled Cath Lab services according to department protocols.
• Utilize independent judgment and apply established methodologies during procedures.
• Oversee and guide the orientation of new and transferring clinical staff.
• Support the development of both certified and non-certified Cath Lab staff through preceptorship.
• Act as a role model for proficient clinical practice and evidence-based practices.
• Contribute to an environment that encourages professional growth and advanced skill acquisition.
• Assist with onboarding new physicians to the Cath Lab department.

Schedule Requirements

• Full-time position with 4 ten-hour shifts.
• Rotating call and weekend availability as needed.
• Holiday and floating requirements as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Certification from ARRT or RCIS is required.
