IR Technologist

Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced IR Technologist. The successful candidate will play a critical role in performing specialized interventional procedures to support patient care.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: Information not provided
• Number of Staff: 8
• Type of Staff: Day Shift only
• Patient Ratios: Information not provided
• Type of Equipment: Philips IR Table
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Call Requirements: 1 week per month

Qualifications

Ideal candidates must possess the following:

• BLS Certification
• ARRT Certification
• ACLS Certification

Typical Procedures

The unit performs a variety of interventional procedures including:

• Y90
• Prostate Embolism
• Tunneled Catheter
• Thoracentesis
• Paracentesis

Preferred Experience

Candidates with neuro experience are preferred, as well as those who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and function independently.
