Interventional Radiologic Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technician to join our team. This position involves working with a combination of Radiologic Technologists and Registered Nurses in the field of Interventional Radiology.

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• On-call duty required from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend call rotation every fourth weekend, with potential for more based on staffing needs

Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional procedures in the radiology department
• Work collaboratively with other Radiologic Technologists and medical staff
• May be required to operate C-Arm during OR and endoscopy procedures
• Administer common drips, including Heparin infused Saline

Qualifications

• Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology
• New York State Licensure required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARRT certification required
• A minimum of 1 year of experience, with 2 years preferred

Additional Information

Candidates must be comfortable working with various technologies, including EPIC, PACS, Siemens Artis-Q machines, and PURE Software. The patient age group primarily includes adults aged 18 and above.
