Radiologic Technologist (Allied)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist for the Interventional Radiology department. The ideal candidate will work a four-day week and be part of a call rotation. This position requires adherence to a variety of technical and procedural standards in quality imaging.

Schedule

• Four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday
• On-call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend call rotation every fourth weekend, subject to staffing needs

Qualifications

• Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Current NY License is required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience is required; 2 years preferred

Role Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Technologist in Interventional Radiology, you will:

• Work within a team of 3 to 4 professionals, collaborating with both Radiologic Technologists and Registered Nurses
• Manage adult patient demographics (ages 18 and up)
• Administer common drips, such as Heparin infused Saline
• Possibly float to operate the C-Arm during various procedures
• Utilize technology including EPIC, PACS, Siemens Artis-Q machines, and PURE Software
