Interventional Radiology Technologist

Unit Information

Location: Englewood, CO

Unit Details:

• 5 Interventional Radiology suites
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
• Staffing Ratios: 2 IR Technologists and 1 IR Registered Nurse
• Equipment: 4 Siemens Bi-plane, 1 Siemens Single plane
• EMR Systems: Meditech, GE Centricity PACS

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possess the skills necessary to perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as an IR Technologist
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with neurointerventional procedures (strokes, aneurysms, SAH)
• Comprehensive knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures with minimal supervision

Typical Procedures Performed

• Neuro: Comprehensive Stroke Center (strokes, aneurysms, subarachnoid hemorrhage, deep vein thrombosis)
• Level 1 Trauma Center: gastrointestinal bleeding, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, nephrostomy procedures

Additional Information

This position requires on-call availability, which includes 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month.
