Registered Nurse (RN)

General Information

Join a dedicated team in a critical care unit equipped with advanced technology, focusing on exceptional patient care. The unit consists of one Cath Lab and one EP Lab with a focus on a range of procedures.

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: One Cath Lab and one EP Lab
• Patient Ratios: 3-4 staff members to 1 patient in the procedural room; 1 staff member to 2-3 patients in the pre/post area.
• Unit Staffing Description: No unit secretaries, with techs supporting lab operations.
• Type of Equipment: MacLab, Acist, Baxter IV pumps, Boston Sci IVUS and DFR, Zoll defibrillators, GE ultrasounds, Pyxis for medications, Impella, and IABPs for Cath. For EP, we use CardioLab, Micropace, Affera, Carto, GE for ICE, plasma blade, Baylis, and Pyxis for medications.
• Documentation System: Expanse, MacLab, and CardioLab.
• Scheduling Requirements: 4×10 or 3×12 shifts; call approximately 10 days per month.
• Floating Policy: None.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who have at least two years of experience in the Cath Lab. The following skills and certifications are essential:

• Certifications: ACLS/BLS, RN.
• Advanced Skills: Experience with STEMI, PCI, and diagnostic Cath. EP experience is preferred.

• Pacemaker/ICD Implants
• Cardiac Ablations
• Watchman Procedures

Dress Code

Scrubs will be provided for all staff members.
