Electrophysiology Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized care and technical expertise in the electrophysiology department, performing various procedures related to cardiac arrhythmias.

Schedule Details

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• One day off during the week
• Occasional late stays may be required to complete cases

Experience Requirements

Minimum: 2 years of Electrophysiology experience with hands-on expertise in:

• Pacemakers (PPM, ICD, Micra)
• Ablations (AFib, AFlut, WPW, SVT, VT, PVC)
• Watchman’s device
• Laser lead extractions
• Stimming (Bloom)

Preferred: Additional 2 years of Cath/IR experience, including candidates with Cath/IR/EP scrub experience.

Licensure / Certification Requirements

• ARRT or RCIS or RCES certification
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Additional Requirements

• Floating between Cath/IR and EP departments may be required
• No weekend or holiday work required

Orientation and Training

• First 2 days of orientation at designated location
• Onboarding includes virtual Epic training and Director of Nursing training

Compensation

Employees are paid bi-weekly.

Credentialing Information

• Credentialing documents are due one week prior to the start date
• Completion of CBC, drug screen, and lab work is required within 72 hours of offer acceptance
