Job Description:

The Electrophysiology Technologist – Pediatric is responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Pediatric Cath Lab. This role requires technical expertise and knowledge of pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as pediatric electrophysiology.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and monitor pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures including LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, congenital structure stenting/ballooning, and collateral closure.
• Assist in pediatric electrophysiology procedures such as pacemaker implantation, generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, and EP studies with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial tachycardia, and PVC.
• Monitor patients with experience with PACS: Picom, and Hemodynamic: Merge systems.
• Utilize Siemens Artis C-arm during procedures.

Requirements:

• BLS, PALS, RCIS and/or ARRT certification.
• Current WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Cath Lab preferred.
• Experience with EPIC Cupid is preferred.
• Ability to adhere to on-call requirements including 7 call shifts in a 3-week rotation, with a 45-minute response time.
