Pediatric Echocardiography Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Echocardiography Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing echocardiograms on pediatric patients as well as experience in a high acuity, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms on a diverse range of pediatric patients, ages 0 – 18 years.
• Provide support for the adult echocardiography team during down time as needed.
• Deliver efficient and accurate clinical assessments, with good judgment on when to seek assistance.
• Float between the outpatient clinic and the hospital as required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years total experience with at least 1 year of pediatric echocardiography experience.
• Must hold BLS and either ARDMS (RCDS) or CCI (RCS) certification; ADRMS (RCDS – PE) is preferred.
• Experience with a variety of patient types, including CAD, hypertension, post TAVR, and TEE.
• Ability to perform an average of 4-6 scans per shift, depending on scheduling.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR is preferred.
• Experience with Cannon US units in the clinic is preferred, and Philips equipment utilized in the hospital.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 8 AM – 5 PM
• Holiday expectations: 1-2 per contract
• No weekend rotation required
