General Information

• Number of Beds: 400
• Patient Ratios: Average 180 CT exams per day – 3 scanners
• Unit Staffing: 2 Techs per scanner during the day; Total of 3 techs during overnights
• Type of Equipment: GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: Not applicable
• Patient Experience Requirements: Perform ED and IP only; Adhere to a compassionate care model
• Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited; ACR accredited for CT

Position Details

• Experience Required: At least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
• Requested Skill Set: Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
• Advanced Skills Needed: Ability to perform routine CT exams for all types of ED and inpatients, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
• Certifications Required: ARRT Radiography required; CT certification preferred
