CT Technologist

Position Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure proper positioning of patients and equipment for optimal imaging results.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Administer contrast materials when necessary under physician supervision.
• Document and record patient information, scan results, and relevant data accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Current certification and licensure in imaging technologies.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging principles and patient care practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule

This position operates on a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Location

This position will be based in North Lakeland, FL.
