CT Technologist

Overview

We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. This position requires expertise in performing computed tomography scans and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans as per physician’s orders and protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during imaging procedures.
• Obtain a thorough patient history and assist in the preparation for scans.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standards of care.
• Provide excellent patient care and maintain effective communication with patients and staff.
• Document procedures and results accurately in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Current certification as a CT Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic technology and imaging procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a healthcare setting that may require standing for extended periods and potential exposure to various clinical scenarios. The CT Technologist must be prepared to handle a variety of patient needs and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.

Location

Based in Brandon, FL with potential assignments at multiple locations within the region.
