General Information

• Number of Beds: 400
• Patient Ratios: Average of 180 CT exams per day with 3 scanners
• Unit Staffing: 2 Techs per scanner during the day; total of 3 techs overnight
• Type of Equipment: GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Patient Experience Requirements: Perform ED and IP only; compassionate care model
• Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited and ACR accredited in CT

Position Overview

This role requires a skilled professional capable of operating GE CT equipment independently and performing routine CT exams for a variety of patient types, including Trauma scans for emergency department (ED) and inpatients (IP).

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a level 1 trauma setting
• Requested Skill Set: Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
• Advanced Skills: Proficient in performing routine CT exams, including Trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
• Certifications Required: ARRT Radiography required; certification in CT preferred

Work Schedule

Standard shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Required uniform color: Charcoal grey.
