CT Technologist

Shifts: 10 hour Varied shifts

Job Overview

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans, working in an acute hospital setting while adhering to established protocols. Candidates must possess a strong ability to function independently and effectively under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute hospital setting.
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer required.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred.
• Proficient in routine CT scans and able to follow radiologist protocols.
• Experience in venipuncture, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging procedures, biopsies, drainages, as well as vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus.

Requirements

• Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start date.
• Must apply for a State of Hawaii license upon acceptance of the offer if not already in possession of an active license.
• No requests for time off will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.
