CT Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and performing a variety of imaging studies using advanced CT technology.

Shift Details

• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures on patients, including ER, inpatient, and outpatient cases.
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety are maintained.
• Cover additional X-ray duties as required.
• Utilize Meditech for electronic medical records and PACS for image management.
• Collaboration with other medical staff and departments to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role.
• Certifications Required: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS (Basic Life Support), and applicable state licensure.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and communicate effectively with team members.

Department Information

• Equipment: Siemens 64 slice CT scanner, Siemens C-arm, x-ray, portable x-ray, and GE portable x-ray.
• Supportive and collaborative team environment with cross-training opportunities.
• Night technicians work independently but have access to supervision during the day hours via phone.

Additional Requirements

• Flexibility with weekend and holiday shifts is expected.
• Call or standby requirements may apply with specified response times.
• A friendly and approachable manner is essential for success in this position.
• Compliance with fit testing requirements concerning facial hair for specific safety protocols.
