CT Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in operating advanced CT scanning equipment and the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans on patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT scanning equipment.
• Utilize EPIC computer software for patient tracking and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine patient needs and imaging requirements.
• Assist with patient preparation and positioning for scanning procedures.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT (CT) is required.
• Experience with GE scanners is preferred, particularly with the Revolution scanner platform.
• Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma center is advantageous.
• Ability to work weekends and float to free-standing emergency departments as needed.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

This position requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Location

This position will be based in Union City, GA, with potential floating to multiple locations within the region.
