General Information:

• Number of Beds: Cath lab with 4 rooms and holding area
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Unit Staffing: 2 CV Analysts, 10 RNs, 6 RT Scrubs
• Type of Equipment: GE Imaging
• Documentation System: Merge Hemodynamics, Meditech EMR
• Scheduling Requirements: 4-10 hour shifts, 6-8 shifts on call per month, with one weekend per month
• Floating Policy: Not required
• Patient Experience Requirements: As determined by facility

Position Overview

The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the cath lab setting. This role involves assisting in various catheterization procedures and ensuring effective patient management before, during, and after procedures.

Hiring Profile

Requested Skill Set:

• Must Have: Cath Lab experience, circulating skills
• Advanced Skills Preferred: Sedation experience, atherectomy, IVUS, thrombectomy
• Certifications: RCIS certification is a plus; scrubbing and monitoring experience is welcome but not required

• Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
• Coronary Interventions
• Permanent Pacemaker (PPM) Insertion
• Electrophysiology Studies (EP) with Ablation
• Watchman Procedure
• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
• Patenter Foramen Ovale (PFO) Closure

Qualifications

• State licensure as required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
