Cath Lab Technologist

Facility Overview

We are dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to the residents of North Central Florida. Our facility is a 99-bed acute care institution that prioritizes technology and compassionate patient care. We offer a range of services including a 10-bed Intensive/Critical Care Unit, Step-Down Care Unit, Cardiac Cath Lab, medical and surgical units, family birthplace center, and a 24-hour emergency department. Rehabilitation services are also available for both inpatient and outpatient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
• Assist physicians in the performance of catheterization, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper function and cleanliness of the cath lab.
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification or equivalent.
• Additional certification in Cardiovascular Technology is preferred.
• Previous experience in a cath lab setting is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities.
