Cath Lab Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to function independently while providing excellent patient care.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room
• Number of Staff: 22 (including RNs and Technicians)
• Staff Structure:
  • Day Shift: Director, manager, and a minimum of 3 staff members per room
  • Night Shift: On-call team with 4 staff members for STEMI calls
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of Equipment: All GE rooms
• Documentation System: Meditech and MacLab
• Call Requirements: Maximum of 15 days call during critical periods

Responsibilities

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for a variety of procedures, including:

• Cardiac catheterizations
• Cerebral angiograms
• Stent placements
• Balloon angioplasties
• ENT Lab procedures
• Current scrubbing practices

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following:

• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Preferred: RCIS certification and ARRT certification

Dress Code

All staff will be provided with surgical scrubs for use during their shifts.

Experience Requirement

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
