Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 0700 – 1530

On-call required: 12 days per month, including weekends and holidays

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced cardiovascular and IR program. This role supports both diagnostic and interventional procedures, with a strong emphasis on patient safety, technical excellence, and teamwork.

Cath Lab Procedures Include:

• Left and right heart catheterizations
• Pacemaker insertions
• Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP)
• Impella device placement and support

Interventional Radiology Procedures Include:

• GI bleed embolizations
• Pulmonary embolism thrombectomies
• Kyphoplasties
• Drain placements
• Port placements
• Additional IR procedures as required

Responsibilities:

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor during Cath Lab and IR procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields
• Operate imaging equipment and ancillary devices
• Assist physicians with device preparation, placement, and troubleshooting
• Respond to emergent cases while on call
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards
• Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures

Experience Required:

1 year of experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.
