Cath Lab Technician

Unit Information

Location: Miami, FL

Number of Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room

Number of Staff: 22, including RNs and Technicians

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Type of Equipment: All GE rooms

Documentation System: Meditech and MacLab

Call Requirements: Maximum of 15 days call during critical periods

Qualifications

• Must Have:
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Neuro experience.
  • RCIS certification.
  • ARRT certification.

Typical Procedures

• Cardiac Catheterization
• Cerebellar Angiograms
• Stenting
• Balloon Procedures
• ENT Lab Procedures
• Scrubbing

Additional Preferences

• RCIS certification preferred
• ARRT certification preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Able to adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to function well independently

Dress Code

Surgical scrubs provided by the unit.
