Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team at a multi-campus facility based in Ocala, FL. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Unit Profile

• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Number of Labs: 3
• Patient Ratios: 3:1
• Staffing Description: Includes unit secretaries and tech availability
• Equipment: GE lab, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, IVUS
• Documentation System: Merge Hemo documentation
• Floating Policy: Possible coverage for nearby locations

Responsibilities

• Conduct right and left heart catheterizations, both diagnostic and interventional
• Perform peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety in the Cath Lab
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the Cath Lab
• Required Certifications: RCIS and ACLS/BLS
• Advanced Skills: Experience in electrophysiology is preferred

Work Schedule

This position requires the ability to work 4 ten-hour shifts on weekdays with call responsibilities on rotating days.
