Unit Information

• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Number of Beds: 5
• Number of Staff: 25
• Staff Type:
  • Day Shift: 10 hour shifts, 4 days per week
  • Night Shift: On call
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of Equipment: X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, iSTAT, Avox
• EMR: Cerner

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Electrophysiology (EP)
• Required Skills:
  • PICC line experience
  • ACLS/BLS certification
  • Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
• Preferred Certifications:
  • RCIS or ARRT for Technologist positions

Typical Procedures

• Diagnostic and Interventional Heart Catheterizations
• Structural Heart Procedures

Working Conditions

• Weekends: Every 5th weekend on call from Saturday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM
• Dress Code: Surgical Green Scrubs
