Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role is essential for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room
• Number of Staff: 22 total, consisting of RNs and Techs
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of Equipment: GE systems
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech and MacLab

Schedule

This position offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week over a 6-week period. Availability for flexible scheduling is required, including on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT
• Competency: Must be skilled in Special Procedures & GE Innova
• Preferred Certifications: RCIS

Typical Procedures

• Cardiac Catheterizations
• Cerebral Angiograms
• Stenting and Balloon Procedures
• ENT Lab Procedures
• Scrubbing for various procedures

Dress Code

Uniforms must adhere to the unit’s colors, which are red and gray. Unit scrubs are permissible.
