Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Technologist – Pediatric Cath Lab Tech is responsible for providing care for pediatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. This involves working with congenital heart conditions and electrophysiology cases in a high-acuity pediatric trauma center.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist in pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, and congenital structure stenting/ballooning.
• Handle pediatric electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker implants, generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, and EP studies with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial Tach, and PVC.
• Circulator and patient monitoring, collaborating with Anesthesia for sedation needs.
• Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations with a 45-minute response time.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience; prior experience in pediatric cath lab preferred.
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, and either RCIS or ARRT, along with a current WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC license.
• Experience with systems such as PACS: Picom and Hemodynamic: Merge; C-arm: Siemens Artis.
• Familiarity with EPIC Cupid EMR is preferred.
• Must not be a first-time traveler and must meet call shift requirements.
