Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

General Information

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a busy cardiology clinic located in City, State. The clinic sees up to 22 patients per day, providing a dynamic and rewarding environment for healthcare professionals.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within a cardiology setting.
• Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients with cardiovascular conditions, including General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular Surgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including EKG techs, clinical assistants, lead RNs, and the nursing manager.
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation.
• Support clinical staff and ensure a smooth operational workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinic experience, preferably in a cardiology setting.
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patient Care Environment

The clinic operates with a supportive team structure, including:

• 1 Clinical Assistant per 10 rooms
• A dedicated nursing manager (RN) on-site

Schedule and Expectations

• No weekend or on-call requirements.
• Holidays: 2 out of 4 holidays required, including the day after Thanksgiving.
• Contract extensions preferred for full week off requests.

Additional Information

• Uniform: Navy blue scrubs are required.
• Free parking available on-site.
• Orientation includes facility protocol and 3-4 days of side-by-side training with nursing staff.
