Job Description:
This LPN position in an outpatient clinic requires recent oncology experience with responsibilities including medical oncology, chemotherapy infusion, hematology, and BMT patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients; VS, Review of Systems, Medication Reconciliation, Weight
- Obtaining orders; processing patients for infusions/communication if cleared
- Chart checks
- Set up for procedures
- Review of referrals
Requirements:
- Current LPN license with BLS certification
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
- Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in oncology
- Experience with EPIC Ambulatory system
- Clinic experience including first assist and chaperoning for provider with exams and procedures
