Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The LPN will be responsible for various duties aimed at promoting the health and well-being of those in our care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare team members as needed.
• Provide support and education to residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license.
• IV certification is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have received the flu vaccination.
• Fingernails must be kept clean and short; artificial nails (including gel or shellac) are not permitted.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 48 hours per week during daytime shifts. Flexibility may be required to accommodate facility needs.
