Job Description:

Providing safe overall nursing care on the Med1 unit, requiring LVN licensure and BLS certification. The unit has 44 beds, and the typical staffing for day and night shifts includes 1 charge, 4 RNs, 4 LVNs, 4 PCTs, and 1 unit clerk. The role requires telemetry capability and inpatient hospital nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care on a MedSurg floor
  • Assist in maintaining patient ratios of 1:5-6

Requirements:
