General Information

The Sleep Lab is a specialized unit dedicated to providing comprehensive sleep assessments and treatments. Our team operates with a focus on patient-centered care, utilizing advanced technologies to diagnose and manage sleep disorders.

Staffing Overview

• Day Shift: 1 Supervisor, 1 Administrative Assistant, 0.5 Day Tech
• Night Shift: 3 Full-Time Staff (2 positions are open), 1 PRN Staff, 1 Part-Time Staff
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:1 or 1:2 based on patient acuity

• ResMed BIPAPs

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System

Meditech

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as an EEG Tech

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at high altitudes
• Basic scoring skills

Typical Procedures

• Split Night Studies
• Adaptive Servoventilation (ASV)
