Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) – Generalist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) with a generalist background. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic tests in various laboratory departments and ensure accurate and timely results.

Shift Details

• Shift: Nights (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday to Thursday)
• Floating: Required within the lab
• No on-call work but may be asked to cover a shift
• No block scheduling

Qualifications

• ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
• Associate’s Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Experience required in the following areas:
  • Blood bank
  • Hematology
  • Urinalysis (UA)
  • Coagulation
  • Serology
  • Chemistry
  • Limited experience in microbiology

Facility Information

Located in City, State, our facility includes 149 beds and utilizes the Medhost electronic medical records system.

Uniform Requirements

Scrubs in red and black are required for all laboratory staff.
