Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Lab Scientist with a focus on Hematology and strong Chemistry experience to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where teamwork and professionalism are valued.

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Orientation Schedule: Monday and Tuesday of the starting week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Working Hours: 8-hour evening shifts, Monday–Friday, from 1500 to 2330
• Weekend Requirement: Required in rotation
• Holiday Requirement: Required based on unit needs
• Floating Requirement: Required to float to different areas as needed

Qualifications

• Experience Requirement: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Lab Scientist with a strong background in Hematology and Chemistry.
• Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Beckman automation lines, including AU 5800, AU 680, DxH 900, DxH 800, DxI 800, Cobas e801, TOP 720, ABL 825 FLEX, Iris Velocity, and Iris iQ200.
• Software Experience: Knowledge of Beaker and AMS software is preferred.
• License/Certification Requirement: Active MLS or MLT certification through ASCP is required.
• New Graduates: Not accepted for this position.

Additional Information

This is a nicotine-free facility. Please note that the client allows for two shift cancellations per month without cost, provided there is a minimum of two hours’ notice.
